
Call for Cases
Submissions are invited for compelling case studies to be presented at the CoreNet Auckland Symposium 2010. Case study topics should address the Symposium theme of Looking Forward: Corporate Real Estate in a Changing Economy. They should reflect on the changes that have occurred in the past 24 months and how business has or is adapting to those changes.
Below are a range of potential topics we are interested in exploring. If you have a compelling case study presentation you would like to submit, that addresses a topic you don’t see listed, please submit it under Other.

1. Workplace- Workplace changes – what kind of changes have been made?
- Work flexibility – is it just a fad?
- Paperless offices – are they more evident? Do they even exist?
- Mobility – mobile workers, mobile offices.
- Remote workplaces – a cost management factor?
- Optimum sizing for worker communities – when is big too big?
- Strategies for developing a “work anywhere” environment.
- Creating innovative workplaces - the opportunities (rapid growth and retraction) and barriers (infrastructure, skilled workers, cultural differences).
- Multiple generations into the workplace – how to balance and incorporate their differing work preferences.
- Workplace design – is it still important and relevant for worker attraction, productivity and retention?
