Past Symposiums have served as a platform for the sharing of ideas, experiences and practical solutions on how the work environment and technology support business strategies and objectives.
The current economic downturn and recent business failures have combined to create a financial environment unlike any other in recent history. In response, our Auckland Symposium to be held in April 2009 will reflect on the concept of Strategies for “Now” - Change, Threats and Opportunities in Corporate Real Estate.
In addition to exploring the implications of the current unique financial and property environment, ongoing issues such as increasing workforce mobility, demographic change and portfolio optimisation will continue to be relevant.
We look forward to hearing about instances of development and implementation of CRE-initiated innovations and changes which support business’ objectives through workplace enablement and strategic partnerships.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) remains a primary focus of businesses through Triple Bottom Line Reporting, commitment to carbon reduction targets, as well as sustainability and cultural values; all of which affect the workplace. The Symposium will update and monitor the participation in current trends and activities that touch the whole supply chain.
